    Enjoy your vacation!

I thought of you today. I picked my first leaves of lettuce from our garden. It was the most *amazing* thing to pick them, wash them, and eat them off our plates. I’m in AWE. They were so fresh and delicious and we grew them ourselves!! I love gardening!

    Thanks, Steph!
Isn’t gardening the best? You can’t beat fresh, organic produce! We have a raspberry bush about to fruit … can’t wait for those sweet berries. And we won’t be paying $3.99 for a cup! Enjoy your salads!

There once was a girl name of Beck
Into dreams full of freaks she would trek
    And meet the boy, Chick
    And his much-deformed clique
But, luckily, never mad Dr. Peck

Ah, Buzz. A limerick that touches the heart. Although I have not met the crazy doctor in my dreams, I have encountered a brilliant and bizarre author …

    Mrs. Smith:

Just between you and me, I suspect we may have an opening soon in my little gang. (This bossy nurse I know is talking crazy again.) If you grow bored with the writing game, I can probably set you up with a used Harley very quickly. Let’s discuss — drop by the Harmony when you’re free.

    Haikus are easy
But sometimes they don’t make sense
